Bereza draws upon her experience as a sorority girl, as well as the friendship, camaraderie, sex and violence that surrounds the sorority as a group. Her oil paintings depict the girls in sexually charged and confident poses. The paintings’ frames include horns and antlers, as if the display of each of these girls is a trophy, or conquest.
